TorGid is an online shopping service for auctions and consumer-to-consumer sales.
The task was to develop a platform for conducting auctions. Our customer had already designed layouts, and we had to implement all the functions. We decided to create the website by means of one of the most popular CMS today, WordPress.
One of the requirements the customer had was to integrate the platform with the Tinkoff service. The problem was that we didn’t have enough tech documentation for setting up the bank payment system. Fortunately, we contacted Tinkoff managers, and in collaboration with them, we had found a solution that met all the functional requirements.
In addition, we had to set up interaction between the Tinkoff bank service and the Boxberry delivery service. The thing was that the seller account had to be replenished only when the buyer had already got their product.
One of the most engaging tasks we had was functionality of increasing and decreasing price bidding implementation. In such cases, we usually use already made codes as solutions to minimize material costs. However, the plugin for WordPress we needed didn’t exist, so we had to implement it on our own.
We have developed a convenient service that allows users to sell their products and make purchases. TorGid is already in high demand and we’re continuing to maintain it.
